Find the right automation before paying to build it

Map one repeated workflow, identify what is actually slowing it down, and leave with three ranked opportunities plus a practical 90-day roadmap.

Best fit

Repeated work crosses people or systems

Built for owner-led businesses and teams of roughly 10–100 people. Start with one workflow where delay, duplication or missed follow-up has become normal.

  • Enquiries or bookings are copied between email, forms and spreadsheets
  • Staff repeatedly chase the same information or approval
  • Weekly reporting depends on manual re-keying
  • The team knows a process is slow but does not know what to fix first

What you receive

A decision-ready shortlist

  1. 01

A 60-minute workflow interview focused on one repeated business problem

  2. 02

A current-state map covering people, systems, information and hand-offs

  3. 03

Three opportunities ranked by impact, effort, operating risk and privacy exposure

  4. 04

Three constraints to resolve before any implementation begins

  5. 05

A practical 90-day roadmap with sequencing and indicative implementation ranges

  6. 06

A 60-minute findings review so the next decision is clear

How it works

One problem. Three clear steps.

  1. 1

    Describe the bottleneck

Send the repeated task, who touches it, and what currently goes wrong. I confirm fit before invoicing.

  2. 2

    Map and rank

We run the workflow interview. I map the current state, test the constraints and rank three realistic opportunities.

  3. 3

    Choose the next move

Within five business days, you receive the findings. We review the roadmap together and close the open decisions.

Clear boundary

Advice first. Build decisions later.

  • No implementation, software configuration, migration or staff training
  • No legal, privacy, cyber-security, accounting or financial advice
  • No sensitive or personal information entered into public generative-AI tools
  • Any follow-on work requires a separate written scope and fixed quote

FAQ

Before you commit

Is this an automation build?

No. This is a fixed-scope diagnostic. You receive an evidence-based shortlist and roadmap before deciding whether any software or implementation is justified.

How much time will my team need?

Usually one owner or operations lead for the 60-minute interview and the 60-minute findings review. I may request existing process notes or blank examples, but not live customer records.

When will I receive the findings?

The written findings are delivered within five business days after the workflow interview, followed by the findings review.

What if automation is not the right answer?

The roadmap will say so. A clearer policy, simpler form or removed hand-off may be the better fix. The audit is outcome-led, not tied to selling a particular tool.

Start with the task your team keeps repeating

Tell me what happens, how often, and where it gets stuck. I will confirm whether the five-hour audit fits before asking you to commit.
