Hi, I'm Dylan.
I'm a senior software engineer with 8+ years of experience building software for businesses across Australia. After graduating from Monash University with a degree in IT, I've worked with companies ranging from startups to enterprises, building the tools, integrations and systems their work runs on.
In 2026, I moved from Melbourne to Cowra, NSW, where I founded Henderson Digital. Central West businesses run on the same manual admin I spent years automating in the city. Typing the same thing into two places. Copying emailed PDFs into systems. Building the weekly report by hand. That work can be done by software, and the engineering to do it shouldn't require a capital-city agency.
Henderson Digital finds the expensive, repetitive jobs inside your business and builds software that does them instead. I use newer tools like AI only where they genuinely save time. I also build websites and online stores. Everything is built by me, not outsourced, with a focus on performance, security, and results you can measure.
How I do business
In a small town, reputation is the whole business. These are the rules I work by.
- Straight advice, even when it costs me work
- If automation or a new website is not worth the money for your situation, I will say so in the first conversation, and that advice is free. I would rather lose a job than sell you something that does not pay for itself.
- Fixed prices, agreed before I start
- You know the full cost up front. If something turns out to be harder than I quoted, that is my problem, not a surprise invoice.
- You own everything
- Your domain, your accounts, your content and the code I write for you are all in your name. If you ever want to move to someone else, you can, and I will help with the handover.
- Plain English, and honest about AI
- I explain what I am building and why in words you do not need an IT degree for. Where I use AI tools, I tell you where, and your business data never goes anywhere you have not agreed to.
